Photos of the Week: Lake Michigan

Hey friends,

How is your 2017 so far?  Mine is quite snowy.

For years I have spent the week between Christmas and New Years Day in Charlevoix, Michigan.  I love that quiet time between the holidays spent with my family. My most favorite moments are in the mornings when everyone is sipping their coffee and reading by the fire, walking over to the public library with my mom and picking up gently used paperbacks for $2 (and then stopping for a glass of wine and a bite to eat on the way back), and wandering the beach along Lake Michigan.  The rocks have been stirred up from winter storms and there are ice formations clinging to the pier.  It’s so beautiful!  I could spend hours out there, and I often do:
