Big Trees!

KDickinson Photography - Big TreesRecently on our way over to Sutter Creek, Matt and I stopped at Calaveras Big Trees State Park in Arnold, California.  Have you seen these big trees?  (Big as in up to 325 feet high with a diameter of 33 feet.  33 feet!)  They’re gorgeous!  And the park has some lovely hiking trails with lots of giant sequoias to gawk over.  It’s a pretty cool place.

Matt took this one! (And the photo I was taking while he took this? Not good.)

This little tree? It’s just a baby.

Coming up next week, more pictures of big trees… and beyond!
