We pulled back into camp after sunset. The light was still lingering so I walked to the water’s edge, amazed at the calmness. I could faintly see the Milky Way up above so I grabbed my camera and tripod and took a few shots. It was early still, maybe around 7. The sun was all but gone, and the moon was going to be rising behind me, but I decided to keep the camera out anyway and set up for star trails. I was curious to see how long the water would stay like glass, and if all the ambient light would help or hurt the photo…
I love how it turned out! I’m so glad I took a chance.
Beautiful!
