Crater Lake (off of Highway 88)

This summer many of our weekend adventures involve finding new fishing destinations. The way I see it, the more remote the better the photographic opportunities. Crater Lake, a small lake off of Highway 88 in northern California not only provides endless fishing but also gorgeous views and solitude.

  3. We got engaged at Crater Lake, February 27 2009. Shoeshoed up from 88, up what is the exit stream when it isn’t frozen. Been there several other times in Summer.
